We are close to a number of popular visitor attractions including the Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank, which is less than one mile away and holds regular star parties, Gawsworth Hall, Capesthorne Hall and the Clonter Opera. We are also only a short distance away from Astle Park, which holds an annual 1000 Engine Rally and Traction Engine Rally. The annual RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park is also within easy reach. Lower Withington is also an ideal location for keen walkers and cyclists. Keen and budding astronomers are particularly welcome as the proprietor is also a keen astronomer and has an observatory in the garden.
